SARAJEVO, May 25 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Public Procurement, proposed by the BiH Council of Ministers, to the House Collegium for harmonization because it did not receive the required entity majority from Republika Srpska.
For the same reason, the Bill on Amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH, proposed by MP Denis Zvizdić, which was considered in the first reading, was sent to the Collegium for harmonization.
The House of Representatives accepted the request of MPs from the SDA caucus to consider the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax by urgent procedure, but during the vote on the law, no entity majority from RS was needed and it was sent to the Collegium for harmonization.
The legislative procedure for the bills on the High Prosecutorial Council of BiH, the High Judicial Council of BiH and the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor of BiH, which were proposed by the deputies from the Democratic Front caucus, has been suspended.
In the first reading, the deputies supported the bill on Amendments to the Law on the Council of Ministers of BiH, proposed by Mirjana Marinković-Lepić and Aida Baručija, which amends the obligation to harmonize with the Law on Gender Equality in BiH.
Regarding the Proposal of Decision on appointment of the Council of the Communications Regulatory Agency of BiH (CRA), BIH PA deputies decided to postpone and return the proposal of the decision to the Council of Ministers of BiH, i.e. the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH for consideration of fulfilling certain legal conditions.
Deputies gave consent for the ratification of several international agreements, after which today's session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament ended.
