SARAJEVO, May 26 (FENA) - The Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment against Alan Duraković (1997) from Bihać, a previously convicted BiH citizen, charged with human trafficking.
The accused is charged with getting in contact with illegal migrants in the area of Bihać in order to gain illegal property, and then agreed on the transportation of smuggled persons, citizens of Egypt and Syria through the territory of BiH from the direction of Bihać for the agreed amount of money.
The indictment alleges that the accused transported illegal migrants, initially a group of five smuggled persons, and shortly afterwards a group of seven smuggled persons to the BiH border, who had previously entered BiH illegally and whose final destination was to leave to the territory of EU countries.
In the commission of the criminal offense, the accused was discovered and stopped by the police officers of the BiH Border Police Izačić, in the immediate vicinity of the border, and another group of seven people was found in the vehicle, whose smuggling was prevented.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH announced.
