SARAJEVO, May 26 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH adopted, under the urgent procedure, the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Budget Execution for 2021.
The amendments were proposed because the financial liquidity of the budget ensures the transfer to the municipalities for capital investments and without the funds of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
“This will ensure that the funds available in the FBiH budget for 2021, determined in the section "Current transfers to other levels of government and funds - cantons and municipalities" in the amount of 10,000,000 KM, "Capital transfers to other levels of government and funds - cantons and municipalities” in the amount of 20,000,000 KM in a timely and efficient manner, based on the Decisions of the Government of FBiH on determining the criteria and distribution of funds to municipalities and cities, allocate to them, regardless of the lack of arrangement with the IMF. Since these are not significantly large funds, such allocations will not disturb the liquidity of the budget or destabilize it,” said FBiH Minister of Finance Jelka Milićević.
