Indictment filed against eight people for war crimes in Velagići near Ključ

SARAJEVO, May 26 (FENA) - A war crimes indictment has been filed against a total of eight people in the town of Velagići near Ključ, the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced today regarding inquiries from several media outlets regarding the case.

A number of accused are in BiH, and some of the accused are in Serbia, who were examined as suspects in the investigation according to the Institute for International Legal Assistance.

According to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, in this case the Prosecutor filed an indictment against all the accused, because he did not want to separate the case, which is an extremely serious war crime case, with dozens of killed victims.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment in that case, and scheduled a guilty plea in the case for July 20 this year, and then more details will be known about the further course of the proceedings, it is said in the statement.
