FENA Darinka Mitrović

SARAJEVO, May 27 (FENA) - FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić said today that the Government of the Federation of BiH and this line ministry are continuously working to help entrepreneurs overcome the problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, and that new assistance programs have been adopted today.

At the press conference after the session of the FBiH Government in Sarajevo, Džindić reminded that last year, through a decree, they allocated one hundred million KM to five different sectors, or 30 million through this line ministry. It was a direct help to export-oriented companies and that the effect of investment and the effect of the work of the Government can be seen.

“Today, we adopted three new programs, a credit-guarantee program for exporters, a credit-guarantee program for large companies in the amount of 100 million KM. These are funds that are available through the Development Bank and the rules for getting the funds are very clear,” stated Dzindic.

Starting new business activities, increasing competitiveness, the number of employees, developing and launching new products, are all conditions that companies must meet in order to participate in such a large and broad program. The repayment period is 120 months, including a grace period of 24 months, in order to enable the companies to make a detailed and good plan and not to be burdened with those debts through guarantees.
