SARAJEVO, May 27 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović met today with members of the United States Congress Robert Aderholt and John Moolenaar, and Core Fellowship Foundation Executive Director Stan Holmes.
The officials discussed the current socio-political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the relations between the two countries at the meeting.
The importance of the multiethnic and multireligious structure in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the need to preserve it through communication, cooperation and mutual respect were emphasized.
Izetbegović informed the congressmen about the activities on the implementation of reforms, and expressed gratitude for the strong support of the USA to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Press Service of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
