SARAJEVO, June 8 (FENA) - The BiH Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury Hazim Rančić received today the Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in BiH, Laura Lungarotti, with whom he discussed ways to resolve the migrant crisis in BiH and enable domestic institutions to respond to these challenges.
The two emphasized at the meeting that the problem of illegal migration is all-present in the region, especially in BiH, which has insufficient capacities to deal with this problem.
Rančić stated that the contribution of IOM in the migration process has been very significant and that this cooperation should be further strengthened.
Lungarotti stated that it is necessary to strengthen the competent institutions in BiH to deal with this problem, especially in order to be staffed and technically strengthened, which requires certain financial resources, stated the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH.
