ANKARA, June 17 (FENA) – FBiH Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramić is on an official visit to the Republic of Turkey, where he met with the Director General of the Turkish Coordination and Cooperation Agency (TIKA).
They signed agreements which, with the joint funds of the FBiH Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees and the Turkish Agency for Coordination and Cooperation, will enable the implementation of projects in returnee communities.
“After the signed protocol on cooperation, we wanted to concretize our activities and direct them to some of the returnee communities. Today, we discussed all possible types of cooperation and support for sustainable return,” said Ramić.
The basis of TIKA's activities is Turkey's foreign policy, which focuses on man and humanity, Ramić reminded, adding that TIKA works intensively and comprehensively and strives to be a leader in creating changes with every new project in the field of development assistance, and thus changes in returnee communities throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The construction of infrastructure in returnee places was also announced, and Ramić said that the implementation of the agreed activities will soon follow as BiH occupies a special place in the work and activities of TIKA and the Turkish people, and this relationship is equally reflected in the field of development support, announced the FBiH Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees.
