SARAJEVO, June 25 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković spoke in Washington with the Chairman of the KKR Global Institute and former Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) General David Petraeus.
The interlocutors discussed the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as strengthening of economic relations and potential American investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minister Turković spoke about the challenges of Euro-Atlantic integration and economic recovery, emphasizing that the strengthened US engagement is vital for strengthening the functioning of the state, thus creating a better framework, economic development and progress.
Petraeus said that the United States is strongly committed to the enlargement of the European Union and supports the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
