SARAJEVO, June 29 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković met with US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield and discussed the current political situation and BiH's progress on the Euro-Atlantic path.
The officials also talked about the challenges BiH is facing, with special emphasis on building a stable, prosperous and just society, a functioning state and active work to preserve the truth as a basis for lasting reconciliation. It was assessed that the cooperation between BiH and the UN is of special importance in that regard.
They emphasized that the acceptance of verdicts of international courts and the legal prohibition of denial of genocide and celebration of war crimes is of vital importance, the Press Service of the BiH MoFA announced.
