SARAJEVO, June 29 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović received Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH Sadik Babur Girgin, the Presidency of BiH announced.
The interlocutors discussed activities after the visit of the members of the Presidency to the Republic of Turkey and the bilateral meeting with the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, as well as participation in the Southeast European Cooperation Summit and the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
The topic of conversation was the next steps in the realization of the Sarajevo-Belgrade motorway project after the Agreement on the construction of the motorway was adopted by the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and ratified by the Parliament of the Republic of Turkey.
The talks also focused on the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey, which will enter into force on August 1st this year.
The BiH Presidency member and Turkish Ambassador also talked about projects implemented by the Republic of Turkey through the Turkish Coordination and Cooperation Agency (TIKA) in returnee communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
