SARAJEVO, June 30 (FENA) - Deputy Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Josip Brkić talked today with Assistant Minister for European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt Badr Abdel Aty about relations between the two countries and readiness to continue cooperation in all areas, especially in the field of economy.
Brkić expressed gratitude for the overall assistance and support provided by Egypt to BiH in recent years, and informed his interlocutor about the current political situation in BiH, emphasizing the European and NATO path and changes to the Election Law.
Assistant Aty expressed satisfaction with the cooperation of friendly countries so far, and reaffirmed Egypt's strong support for BiH, its Euro-Atlantic path and positive reform processes.
They also supported the initiative to hold a business forum between BiH and Egypt, which would be held in BiH, and discussed the possibilities of improving tourism cooperation through mutual promotion of the potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Egypt, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
