KONJIC, July 16 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović visited the Municipal Board of SDA Konjic today, where he talked with the leadership of the municipal organization and held meetings with entrepreneurs and religious representatives from Konjic.
During the visit to Konjic, the SDA delegation also laid flowers at the memorial on Alija Izetbegović Statehood Square.
As Izetbegović told reporters after the meetings, Konjic is a city with a large number of employees, a developed and growing economy, and it is especially important that during the coronavirus pandemic in this city no person lost their job while the number of employees is increasing.
“In the future, Konjic will be more and more connected with Sarajevo, through Prenj with Mostar and the Adriatic coast, therefore the chances of this city for development will increase even more,” Izetbegović added.
He commended the work of Mayor Osman Ćatić, who is doing a lot to help entrepreneurs. Izetbegović pointed out that they agreed to organize the meeting between the FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and representatives of the FBiH Development Bank, which will be attended by the mayor.
At that meeting, they should determine the needs of entrepreneurs in Konjic, and in addition, a pilot project will be developed in Konjic that could be applied in other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, aimed at staff development for the needs of economy.
