SARAJEVO, July 19 (FENA) - BiH Foreign Minister Bisera Turković expects Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to immediately distance himself from Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin's statements on "unification of the Serbian world".
“If he does not do that, it will only confirm that his and Serbia's official policy is to bring down the Dayton Peace Agreement, which aims to annex parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Serbia,” Turković wrote on Facebook.
According to him, Vulin's statement, which decisively said that the unification of Serbs means a "single state", is a flagrant violation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, destabilization of the entire Western Balkans region and an ominous threat to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who defended themselves from aggression and genocide 26 years ago.
“Such rhetoric makes absolutely meaningless all the statements and policies of Serbian President Vučić in which he claims that Serbia wants peace and good neighborly relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the contrary, Vulin's statements are the best indicator of the source of destabilization of the region and the blockade and obstruction of the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also of other countries in the region. Bosnia and Herzegovina will officially inform all countries that are guarantors of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council on Vulin's statements,” says Turković.
