SARAJEVO, July 19 (FENA) - Raisu-l-ulama of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazović, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, extended a message to Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, homeland countries and the diaspora, MINA reports.
Raisu-l-ulama states that the first day of Eid al-Adha is Tuesday, July 20, and emphasizes that it is the day of sacrifice, a time in which we show a willingness to sacrifice something dear to another, and in the name of the love of our Lord.
Rais Kavazović points out that Eid days are days of mutual visits for Muslims and for all who live with us.
“That is why we invite them to visit those who are sick, poor and lonely and make them happy,” said Rais.
In this way, we will include them in our Eid joy. May our dear God accept every Eid sacrifice. I congratulate all Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the upcoming days of Eid al-Adha. I especially congratulate our brothers and sisters in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and the Bosniak diaspora,” said Rais Kavazović in his Eid message.
