TUZLA, July 23 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić and Minister for Refugees and Displaced Persons of FBiH Edin Ramić, together with the delegations of the FBiH Motorways and the public enterprise FBiH Roads visited the Tuzla Canton today.
As the Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton, Kadrija Hodžić, said, Novalić's and Ramić's visit is strengthening the agreement on important topics for that canton.
“We talked about the road unblocking of Tuzla Canton. We don’t have a single meter of motorway, nor expressways. On the other hand, we have the smallest number of kilometers of main roads in relation to number of inhabitants in FBiH. Another topic we discussed was maintaining the liquidity of the budget of the Tuzla Canton until the end of the year and strengthening assistance to businesses and crafts in maintaining their liquidity. These are entities that faced difficulties during the pandemic,” said Hodžić.
FBiH Government allocated the assistance to Tuzla Canton in the same amount as last year, which is about 38.9 million KM, and the FBiH Government announced the assistance to craftsmen as well.
Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, points out that at the technical meeting, the directions were defined which will start the projects in which the Government of the Tuzla Canton and the Government of the FBiH are participating.
“It is about the road unblocking in the Tuzla Canton, financial assistance, and the intentions of the FBiH Government to help the work and restructuring of one of the most important clinical centers in BiH, in which it has already invested tens of millions of KM. In such projects, we are obliged to unite with partners from TC. Here, we have to work on the modernization of road communication, and all this comes at a time when we are bringing to an end the project and contract activities on Corridor 5c,” said Novalić.
He emphasized that the Tuzla Canton is the fastest growing and the fastest to repair the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and the FBiH Government will support exports from Tuzla Canton with future transfers.
