DOBOJ, July 27 (FENA) - FBiH Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramić paid an official visit to Doboj, where he met with Mayor Boris Jerinić, Parliament Speaker Sevlid Hurtić and members of the returnee community.
Minister Ramić and Mayor Jerinić signed eleven contracts on the construction of infrastructure in returnee places, as well as an agreement on the construction and reconstruction of 62 housing units for returnee families.
“It is important to mention that Doboj is a local self-government unit that significantly co-finances all projects implemented by the Ministry. For infrastructure it is 49 percent, and for housing units 60 percent of the total value of projects. With the implementation of the contracts signed today, the rehabilitation, construction and paving of several roads, the construction of water supply systems, religious and sports facilities, as well as the construction of 62 housing units will be carried out. The total estimated value of the contract is around one million KM,” said Ramić.
Returnee families who had a newborn last year received financial support. Minister Ramić handed over the decisions on the allocation of financial resources for 61 families, the FBiH Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees announced.
