MOSTAR, August 4 (FENA) - Regarding media reports related to the construction of the Hranjen Tunnel, the FBiH Ministry of Transport and Communications informs the public that according to the Law on Roads of the Federation of BiH, the implementer of the project for the construction of the expressway Prača - Goražde, section Hranjen Tunnel, is the public enterprise FBiH Motorways.
"Selection of contractors and supervision of works, signing of works contracts, supervision and field control of the implementation of the project construction of the Hranjen Tunnel is carried out exclusively by FBiH Motorways Mostar. Therefore, on July 1, 2021, the FBiH Ministry of Transport and Communications requested a detailed statement on the implementation of the Hranjen Tunnel construction project, emphasizing the completion of this project according to the signed Contract, as we did not receive a response, we sent an additional written urgency to FBiH Motorways by our act of July 16, 2021. Based on the feedback submitted by the public enterprise FBiH Motorways, the Ministry will prepare the Information and submit it to the Government of the Federation of BiH for consideration at the next session of the Government of the Federation of BiH," the ministry said.
