SARAJEVO, August 10 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić reiterated today that the session of the Presidency of BiH was held on Monday, August 9, and the Office of BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik replied that he does not agree with the Decision on appointment of the Governing Board of the Central Bank of BiH (CBBH).
"Therefore, the decision was not made. Everything else is not our problem and we do not want to participate in the circus that Dodik is organizing for the public in the Republika Srpska," said Komšić in a statement, announced the Presidency of BiH.
At an extraordinary telephone session convened by Komšić, Dodik voted against giving consent for a new mandate to the current Governing Board of the Central Bank of BiH, while Komšić and BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović supported the appointment.
An extraordinary telephone session was convened because the mandate of Governor Senad Softić as well as the members of the Governing Board of the CBBH expires today. The Law on the CBBH does not approve the technical mandate and therefore it was necessary for the Presidency to appoint a new Governing Board.
