Bulgaria donates 50,000 AstraZeneca vaccines to Bosnia and Herzegovina

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, August 12 (FENA) - The Government of the Republic of Bulgaria, with the contribution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria, donated 50,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a sign of solidarity with BiH's efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, announced the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH.

The Bulgarian Embassy in BiH said this is another evidence of existing friendly relations between the two countries.

“Bulgaria continues to strongly support the European and Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, remaining committed to intensifying political dialogue, trade, economic, cultural, tourist and military cooperation and the creation of another opportunity to get to know the two peoples, historically connected for centuries,” it was stated during the handover of the donation to the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH.
