SARAJEVO, August 17 (FENA) - At today's extraordinary session, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a Decision approving the holding of the military exercise "Quick Response", FENA learns.
The BiH Presidency member from the entity of RS, Milorad Dodik, did not participate in the decision-making, thus the decision was passed by a majority vote.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has approved the holding of EUFOR's "Quick Response 2021" Exercise, based on a letter from the Commander of the European Union Forces (EUFOR), Major General Alexander Platzer, the BiH Presidency said.
This regular annual EUFOR exercise is held in accordance with the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Annex 1-A, the Agreement on the Military Aspects of a Peace Accords.
The EUFOR's exercise "Quick Response 2021" will be held from 13 September to 3 October in the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It enables the testing of the engagement of forces to provide support to the BiH authorities in maintaining a secure and stable environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
