SARAJEVO, August 18 (FENA) - In the last 24 hours, 2,170 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 318 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
A total of 776,687 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 136,469 individuals.
In the past 24 hours, no deaths were reported in the Federation of BiH.
Last week, in the Federation of BiH, 18,295 people were vaccinated with the first dose, while 17,855 received the second dose.
So far, a total of 290,503 people have been vaccinated in the Federation of BiH, of which 172,989 received both doses, the FBiH Institute of Public Health said.
In Republika Srpska, 399 laboratory samples were tested in the last 24 hours, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 83 people.
In the same period, two deaths were reported to the RS Institute of Public Health.
So far, 65,017 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in that entity, and a total of 3,824 people have died in whom a test for the virus has been confirmed.
Today, 19 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Brčko District of BiH, out of 222 laboratory samples processed.
