SARAJEVO, August 27 (FENA) - BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik stressed after a meeting of presidency members with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that he trusts cooperation with President Erdogan more than cooperation with some other failed efforts to impose a solution in BiH.
He stated that the situation in Afghanistan best showed that foreigners cannot bring order to a country and maintain it.
“We only believe in an internal agreement on every issue because that is the best,” said Dodik.
He added that he said at the meeting that there is no High Representative in BiH, but only a person who presents himself that way.
Dodik believes that it is unacceptable for an unelected foreigner to pass laws here, and that it would be best for us in BiH to do it ourselves with friends like President Erdogan.
“I am in favor of maintaining the territorial integrity of BiH and the political arrangement must be the result of an internal agreement. The Dayton Agreement is almost non-existent because it was destroyed by the interventions of the international community, and that is why we must reach a new agreement that can stabilize BiH in the next few decades,” Dodik emphasized.
