SARAJEVO, August 30 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović received today in a farewell visit the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Khalid Rao.
Ambassador Rao pointed out that, despite the restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, significant strides forward were made during his term in office in developing relations between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In that context, he emphasized the importance of the signed Readmission Agreement, and the visit of the then Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, to Pakistan, when the Agreement was signed.
The two officials also discussed the possibilities of further improvement of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, especially in the field of economy.
Izetbegović thanked Ambassador Rao for his engagement during his term in BiH, wishing him health, success and happiness in future endeavors, stated the SDA.
