SARAJEVO, August 30 (FENA) - Representatives of the opposition parties in the entity of RS pointed out today after a meeting in Banja Luka that the statements made by the BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik that "the Dayton Peace Agreement is dead and that a new political agreement is needed in BiH" are unacceptable.

The SDS President Mirko Šarović said that invoking "the Dayton No. 2" was unacceptable for that political party and that he believed that it was an adventure in which Republika Srpska was being pushed.

"Here, our positions diverge and we will resolutely oppose such intentions," said Šarović, referring to the positions of the SNSD.

The PDP President Branislav Borenović stated that Dodik's announcement of giving up or annulling the Dayton Peace Agreement is the most serious and dangerous blow to the RS and its competencies.

In his opinion, Dodik is trying to create a new political crisis by saying that a new "Dayton PA" is needed, which is an adventure that can have unforeseeable consequences for the RS.

The DNS President Nenad Nešić emphasized that Dodik's statement means that "he is playing with fire", that it is very dangerous for the RS, but also for peace in BiH and the stability of the entire region.
