SARAJEVO, August 31 (FENA) - No decision was adopted at today's session of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik did not vote for any, and all items on the agenda were related to foreign policy.
This is the epilogue of today's session of the Presidency, which Dodik attended, but he refused to vote for any decision, and they will now go to the second round of voting.
This was confirmed to the press after the session by the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, who added that the members of the Presidency should have made decisions today regarding defense, for which consensus is needed, but Dodik also voted against that.
“Only two pieces of information were adopted where no consensus is required and where a decision can be made by majority vote. It is an obvious blockade of the institution of the Presidency of BiH. We have not completed the process of appointing ambassadors, giving agreements to ambassadors appointed by other countries in BiH. That means that the competence of the Presidency of BiH is endangered,” said Džaferović.
“This is a blockade of the state of BiH and I expect the international community to take certain actions, first of all the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt in order to resolve this situation and for BiH to function normally,” said Džaferović.
At the session of the Presidency of BiH, he said, there was no talk about the Bled Strategic Forum, to which the Presidency of BiH was invited, but which will be attended by the Chairman and member of the Presidency Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović, while Dodik refused to participate because Schmidt will be present.
