SARAJEVO, September 1 (FENA) - Representatives of party caucuses coming from the Republika Srpska entity in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not attend a meeting today to discuss and agree on the further functioning of the country's highest legislative body.

Speaker of the House Denis Zvizdić told reporters in Sarajevo after the meeting that their presence was expected given the fact that BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik (SNSD) attended yesterday's session of the BiH Presidency.

He announced that the session will be scheduled for mid-September, because important laws are on the agenda of the session, above all the budget of the institutions that need to be adopted in the second round of voting.

“That document should have been adopted a long time ago and now the budget for 2022 should be discussed. We expect their presence in order to discuss all items on the agenda and make decisions that benefit all BiH citizens,” he emphasized.

He warned that a new decision on interim financing for the last quarter of this year should be made soon. The decision should be made by the BiH Council of Ministers, which also includes ministers from Republika Srpska parties.
