BLED, September 1 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović was today one of the participants in the panel on "The Future of Europe - The Enlargement" held within the Strategic Forum in Bled, noting that the majority of the population of BiH wants the country to become a member of the EU.
"Today we talked about the aspect of the EU in terms of security, respect for human rights and economic prospects, and that is what BiH needs, that is what all citizens want - economic development, respect for freedoms and rights and security," emphasized Džaferović.
He pointed out that all six countries of the Western Balkans are part of Europe, but they are not in the institutions of the European Union, although they are surrounded by the countries that are.
