FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, September 2 (FENA) - The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić received today, at the seat of the Government of the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo, the non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in Moscow, Ahmed Alsaati.

The two officials discussed the improvement of cooperation, especially the economic one, as well as the possibilities of its expansion to some wider activities.

The ambassador pointed out that Bahraini investors are interested in investing in our country.

In this context, the interlocutors agree that the opportunities for developing existing capacities in the food industry and increasing BiH exports should be used but also to consider ways for Bahrain to further export these products to other Gulf countries, given the favorable geographical position of that country.

"Considering the great global experiences of your investors, but also our needs, we are extremely interested in the possibility of the Kingdom of Bahrain investing in our economy, and especially in the development of the food industry and the export of our products," said Prime Minister Novalić.

Ambassador Alsaati informed Prime Minister Novalić that they plan to organize an economic and business forum for the countries of Southeast Europe in Sarajevo in March next year, in order to present the potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina to investors from the Kingdom.

Ambassador Alsaati, who is on a four-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina and will hold a series of meetings with BiH officials, invited Prime Minister Novalić to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain, stated the FBiH Government's Public Relations Office.
