Rich experience and high qualifications of new associates of Maureen Cormack

WASHINGTON/SARAJEVO, 9 September (FENA) - The Bureau for Europe and Eurasia (EUR) this month welcomes the joining of several individuals to the Office's management team, where they will work with Acting Assistant Secretary of State, Maureen E. Cormack to manage affairs for Europe and Eurasia in the US Department of State, as it was responded to FENA from the Office of the Spokesperson of the US Department of State.

According to the said Office, Ambassador Dereck J. Hogan joined as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Robin Dunnigan as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Central and Eastern Europe, Gabriel Escobar as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Southern and Central Europe, Media and Public Diplomacy, and Erika Olson as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Caucasus, Regional Conflicts and Southern Europe.

"We are glad that they will work with us because they bring rich experience and qualifications to our team. Their joining the management of the EUR Head Office is part of the regular process of diplomatic appointments in the US Department of State," it was stated in the response.
