SARAJEVO, September 9 (FENA) - Innovations and development strategies of some of the largest IT companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented at today's business and technology conference "Sarajevo TechLab" organized by BH Telecom on the occasion of the day of the company.
One of them is Infobip, and the general manager of that company for the region of the Middle East and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dino Ibrahimović said that for the past ten years, since they have been present in Bosnia and Herzegovina, they have been continuously working with BH Telecom and other operators in the country and the region to improve telecommunications solutions.
This company employs more than 2,500 people and is the first Balkan unicorn for startups, and their intention is to create digital communication solutions that will enable everyone to communicate with end-users on the preferred channel or device.
"Along the way, we rely heavily on our partners, telecom operators and we are proud to emphasize that BH Telecom is one of the companies that is the fastest and most active in recognizing the need to transform telecom operators from traditional telecommunications infrastructure carriers to digital solution providers and to make everyday life easier for users," he explained.
On behalf of the company Devoted, which won the first prize for a startup idea last year, Kemal Lutvica said that today's conference was a big step forward and an indicator of where communication between the startup community and large companies should go.
Speaking about the path from an innovative idea to a successful business, he said that this path is paved with numerous challenges and it is not possible to give a universal answer which is the right way to go from an idea to a quality and sustainable product or business.
In the next three years, BH Telecom will provide 15 million KM for startups, which should be an incentive for all young people who have specific knowledge and expertise in using advanced technologies to create a new, better digital society.
This year's BH Telecom conference was held under the slogan #powerofinnovation and sends a clear message of support for innovation, accelerated development and the digitalization process in BiH, which was confirmed by eminent participants and panelists.
It was attended by about 150 participants, and more than 15 speakers took part at two thematic panels that focused on the concept of advanced technologies and innovations.
