Prosecutor's Office of BiH has not been officially informed about Vranj arrest

SARAJEVO, September 13 (FENA) - The Prosecutor's Office of BiH announced that it was informed about the arrest of Edin Vranj at the border crossing when entering Serbia from media reports, and that it did not receive any official notification or information from the Serbian authorities.

"The Prosecutor's Office of BiH acted on the basis of a report submitted by the competent police authorities, against several persons, which refers to allegations of war crimes committed against Serb victims in the building of the ZOIL in Goražde, 1993 and 1994," it is stated from that institutions.

They add that in the mentioned case an indictment was filed against several persons and the trial is ongoing, while in relation to the reported Edin Vranj and several other persons, on December 26, 2018, an order was issued not to conduct an investigation. No objection was raised by Vranj.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH urgently forwarded the inquiry to the Prosecutor's Office for War Crimes of Serbia, in which detailed information was requested, and the Order on non-investigation was forwarded, which became final in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was announced.
