SARAJEVO, September 13 (FENA) - President of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) Mirko Šarović, commenting on the BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik's statement that Christian Schmidt is acceptable to him as a representative of the Quint, said it was a mere play on words.
He states that Dodik is looking for a way to make a political U-turn but for it to appear as something "completely normal".
"He is in a very complex and difficult situation. The President of Serbia talked to Christian Schmidt these days, and Dodik compared that same Schmidt to a German civilian who wandered through BiH, and has already run into a problem. In recent weeks, it is quite clear that he has only sharpened his rhetoric, because of his rating and the rating of his party, and now he has to adapt that same rhetoric to the current situation.
It is quite clear that he has no plan but he is the one most responsible because has the political and he must find a way out and a solution for the sake of the citizens of Republika Srpska. He intends to prolong the crisis and manage it until the next elections, without looking for a real way out of the current situation," said Šarović.
