SARAJEVO, September 21 (FENA) - The Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić spoke today with a delegation of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), led by Mak Kamenica, director of the Energy Sector Assistance Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina (USAID) EPA) on the State-level Electricity and Gas Act.
"Exceptional cooperation with USAID has resulted in easier adoption of several laws in the Federation of BiH. USAID worked with us in a quality and continuous manner on the harmonization of acts with European and world norms," said Minister Džindić.
He added that he expects the continuation of successful cooperation between USAID and the Government of the Federation of BiH in the coming period, the Office of the Government of the Federation of BiH for Public Relations announced.
At the meeting, USAID representatives presented the activities they are undertaking to harmonize the Law on Electricity and Gas with the Third Energy Package of the Energy Community.
