Consumer prices in August increased by 0.2 percent

SARAJEVO, September 26 (FENA) - Prices of products and services used for personal consumption in BiH, measured by the consumer price index, in August are on average 0.2 percent higher than in July.
 
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are on average 0.5 percent more expensive, alcoholic beverages and tobacco 0.3 percent more expensive, healthcare 0.1 percent more expensive, recreation and culture 0.4 percent more expensive, and furniture and household appliances 0.6 percent more expensive, as well as average transport, announced the BiH Statistics Agency.
 
The price level in August this year, compared to August last year, is higher by 2.3 percent.
