SARAJEVO, September 27 (FENA) - At the proposal of MP Adis Arapović, the House of Representatives of Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted at today's session a Resolution on the protection of peace, sovereignty, integrity, constitutional order, territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its EU and NATO perspective.
According to the explanation of the proponent of the resolution, the reasons for the preparation of the Resolution are the escalation on the political scene of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the inappropriate speeches of the responsible officials from the entity of Republika Srpska.
In its nine articles, the Resolution calls on the RS officials to end the blockade of the BiH institutions, as well as representatives of political parties from that entity, to resolve political problems and disputes within the BiH instittuions.
In the resolution, the House of Representatives condemns the statements of Milorad Dodik, a member of the BiH Presidency from the RS, regarding threats of secession of the RS from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH and security authorities are called upon to ensure the implementation of positive regulations, and the Peace Implementation Council, the Office of the High Representative in BiH and EUFOR to timely prevent violations of peace, and threats to territorial integrity, constitutional order and integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Before the House of Representatives declared this resolution, the HDZ-HNS caucus said that it would not support the Resolution "because it was submitted to the procedure this morning before the session, and not in the required 14 days before, and that the Resolution touches on the competencies that belong only to the BiH Parliament and not the FBiH Parliament."
