According to the ministry, for many years the EUFOR exercise "Quick Response" has been testing the ability of the European Union military forces to deploy their reserve forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina, if necessary, and help the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
It has become common for the AFBiH units and security agencies in BiH to participate equally in the exercise, in order to test in the field the capabilities and achieved standards of joint action, coordination and interoperability in a multinational environment.
This year, the EUFOR exercise "Quick Response 2021", gathers EUFOR troops stationed in BiH and reserve forces from Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria and Turkey, while the AFBiH participate with three infantry platoons from the Operational Command.
The area of operations includes the zones of the cities - Glamoč, Livno, Tomislavgrad, Ljubuški, Mostar, Čapljina, Trebinje, Bileća and Sarajevo.
