SARAJEVO, September 28 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina today passed a Decision on interim financing, which prevented a complete blockade of the work of the state institutions, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH announced on her Twitter account.

She pointed out that this is an important step towards the normalization of the work of the BiH institutions and that she expects the postponed regular session to be scheduled as soon as possible.

Earlier, the political representatives from the Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina boycotted work in the state institutions after former High Representative Valentin Inzko imposed amendments to the Criminal Code on July 23, banning genocide denial and glorifying war criminals, which is why Chairman Tegeltija continuously refused to convene a session.

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was supposed to make a decision on the three-month interim financing of the BiH institutions, which would ensure payments from the budget until the end of the year, since the previous decision expires on September 30, and the budget of the BiH institutions and international obligations for 2021 have not gone through all the necessary procedures.
