SARAJEVO, October 1 (FENA) - In the course of the EUFOR exercise "Quick Response 21", which also includes units of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a Day of the Dignitaries was organized today in Camp Butmir near Sarajevo.
The reception was attended by state ministers, representatives of international embassies, EUFOR, and on that occasion, BiH Defense Minister Sifet Podžić and Chief of the Joint Staff of the BiH Armed Forces Colonel General Senad Mašović congratulated members of the BiH Armed Forces and EUFOR units on their readiness and efficiency.
For the purposes of the exercise, the BiH Ministry of Defense provided EUFOR with its own infrastructure capacities at various locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is participating in the exercise with units of the Armed Forces of BiH and other security institutions, and the AF BiH participated with three infantry platoons from the Operational Command of the AF BiH.
As part of the "Quick Response 21" exercise, EUFOR reserve forces arrived from Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria and Turkey, stated the BiH MoD.
