SARAJEVO, October 5 (FENA) - Delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by BiH Deputy Minister of Defense for Policy and Planning Mijo Krešić, Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of the BiH Armed Forces for Operations Major General Ivica Jerkić, Military Attaché of BiH in the Republic of Croatia, Brigadier Mato Đukić and Adviser Danijel Nikolić, paid an official visit to the Republic of Croatia, the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of BiH announced.
During the visit, Deputy Minister Krešić met with Tomo Medved, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia and Minister of Croatian Veterans, and officials confirmed the high level of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia.
“It is important for us to have support and open cooperation with the institutions of the Republic of Croatia, both in the defense sector and in other areas. Croatia is a member of the EU and NATO, and we can easily overcome certain phases and processes that await us in BiH if we use the experiences of our true friends. Cooperation in the field of education is in that direction, and I once again expressed my gratitude for Croatia's readiness to educate our officers at the Croatian Military Academy "Dr. Franjo Tudjman ", which raises the quality of the Armed Forces of BiH,” Krešić pointed out during the meeting.
