BiH CoM holds extraordinary telephone session on the delivery of paid vaccines

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, October 18 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Information of the Ministry of Civil Affairs on the need to conclude a contract on compensation between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Jansen Pharmaceuticals NV at the extraordinary telephone session today.

The BiH Council of Ministers also adopted the compensation agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and Jansen Pharmaceuticals NV.

It is a standard contract that is the same for all members of Covax (Covid-19 Global Access to Vaccine Instrument) or a previous commitment.

“This creates the preconditions for the delivery of previously paid vaccines manufactured by Johnson / Johnson from the Covax system for BiH, which aims to enable vaccination of citizens as the most effective way to protect against COVID 19 and the most effective way to combat the spread of the pandemic,” BiH CoM said in a press release.
