SARAJEVO, October 20 (FENA) - France is organizing the sixth edition of ‘Taste of France’ at the end of October, which is being held at the initiative of the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the famous chef Alain Ducasse.
This year, 3,000 restaurants on five continents will organize dinners to celebrate French cuisine and its values: togetherness, pleasure, healthy eating, the French Embassy in BiH said.
Each participating restaurant will offer its guests a menu inspired by French cuisine.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, five restaurants, one pastry shop and two bakeries in four cities will be partners of this event: in Banja Luka, Gradiška, Konjic and Sarajevo. All types of restaurants are represented, from bistros to gastronomic restaurants, with menus for all budgets, so that the general public has the opportunity to participate in this gastronomic event.
The Ambassador of France in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christine Toudic, stated that she is glad to "bring" French cuisine to Bosnia and Herzegovina through the ‘Taste of France’ event.
“In the current context, we all need emotional moments of socializing and togetherness, which are the essence of the art of living in the French way. I thank all the chefs, caterers, bakers and confectioners in Bosnia and Herzegovina who accepted our invitation to take you on a journey with a lot of creativity and taste,” said the French Ambassador to BiH.
