SARAJEVO, October 21 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Bisera Turković talked today with Eric Nelson, Ambassador of the United States of America to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the talks, Ambassador Nelson reiterated that the United States remains committed to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that all attempts to overthrow progress and reform are absolutely unacceptable.
Further development and strengthening of the functionality of BiH institutions on the basis of peace from the Dayton Peace Agreement are the best guarantee of security and the path to prosperity for all in BiH.
The Ambassador emphasized that the United States is closely monitoring the situation and that there should be no provocations that would further destabilize the country. It is necessary to remain calm and join progressive forces in order for Bosnia and Herzegovina to emerge stronger and more prosperous from this crisis, the Public Relations Office of the MoFA of BiH said.
