SARAJEVO, October 24 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković spoke yesterday, by phone, with Congressman Dan Meuser, ahead of an important hearing in the US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee on the US engagement in the Western Balkans.
The hearing will be held on October 28 in the Committee of which Meuser is a member, and will be attended, among others, by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Gabriel Escobar.
They talked about the current political situation in BiH, the role of the international community, and the progress of our country towards the European Union and NATO. It was pointed out that the United States has the continuity of support for BiH, and that it is crucial to preserve the stability of BiH, the Western Balkans region, but also the entire European Union, the Public Relations Office of the BiH MoFA said.
