BRČKO, October 25 (FENA) - Brčko District Mayor Esed Kadrić and his associates held a meeting with the Indonesian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Roem Kono on Monday to discuss potential economic cooperation between the District and the Republic of Indonesia.
The present members of the Government had the opportunity to get acquainted with the constitutional structure of Indonesia, its economic and political organization, and discussed future cooperation in the field of economic development between the Brčko District and the Republic of Indonesia.
"We have opened talks on possible cooperation in the form of investments by Indonesian investors in the economic potential of the District and we have agreed to connect the Brčko District Chamber of Commerce with Indonesian businesses," Kadrić said.
Ambassador Kono, among other things, expressed interest in infrastructure projects being worked on in the District and offered technical assistance to their engineers, especially regarding the motorway construction.
The interlocutors also discussed the possibility of twinning the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a city in the Republic of Indonesia, which will be worked out in the coming period, stated the Brčko District Government.
