SARAJEVO, October 25 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović received EUFOR Commander in Bosnia and Herzegovina Major General Alexander Platzer.
The two officials discussed the current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina with an emphasis on the activities undertaken by EUFOR in implementing the military aspects of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Džaferović gave full support to the ALTHEA mission, emphasizing that international military forces, as an integral part of the Dayton Agreement, make an essential contribution to preserving and strengthening peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They discussed EUFOR's "Quick Response 21" exercise, which was conducted in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They also discussed the recently signed Plan for Training and Cooperation between the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and EUFOR, which defines future joint activities, the Presidency of BiH announced.
