SARAJEVO, October 28 (FENA) - The trial of the former chief prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Goran Salihovic has been postponed due to his health condition.
Defense attorney Rifat Konjić said Salihović had health problems when they met before entering the Sarajevo Cantonal Court.
At today's hearing, the Chairman of the Trial Chamber, Jasenko Ružić, said that a member of the Chamber had been replaced due to illness. The Prosecution and the Defense have agreed to continue the trial with a new member of the Chamber, Detektor reports.
Salihović was charged with using his official position from February 2013 to September 28, 2016, acting contrary to the regulations and obtaining a benefit in the amount of over 80,000 KM.
According to the indictment, Salihović was acquainted with the Rulebook of the Council of Ministers of BiH on the use of funds for representation with a limit of 20,000 KM per year, but he knowingly acted differently.
The trial is due to continue on November 23.
