ZENICA, November 9 (FENA) - The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Commission for Gender Equality, Human Rights and Civil Liberties of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Assembly (SZDK), organized a workshop on the "Implementation of the Code of Ethics" in SZDK for cantonal deputies".
The Assembly of ZDC adopted the Code of Ethics in 2011, at one of its sessions.
"At the beginning of this year, we initiated a discussion on this topic, in accordance with the recommendations of the International Group of States against Corruption - GRECO.
GRECO recommends to Bosnia and Herzegovina, in its report, that the rules of conduct and ethical standards, at the level of BiH, should be improved in some manner," said a representative of the OSCE Mission at this gathering, Daut Bajramović.
He points out that the goal of this gathering is to look at the implementation of the Code of Ethics in SZDK, from its adoption until today, and to compare these practices with the practices within BiH and the region, and beyond.
"We want to see how we can improve the text of the Code itself, as well as its implementation," Bajramović pointed out.
