SARAJEVO/BRUSSELS, November 10 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović talked today with the chairman of the Group of Friends of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European Parliament, Klemen Grošelj.
They discussed the current security and political crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina, caused by the unilateral actions of the Republika Srpska authorities against the Dayton Peace Agreement and the progress made in its implementation in the past 26 years, the BiH Presidency said.
The two emphasized that threats to overthrow the state institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the defense, judicial, intelligence, tax and other sectors are unacceptable.
The Presidency member emphasized that the RS authorities, by attacking the constitutional order and state institutions, are attacking the peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is essential for the overall European peace and stability.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights and it was indicated that the judgments must be implemented respecting their content.
The activities undertaken and planned by the European Parliament in relation to Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed.
It was pointed out that the representatives from the Group of Friends of Bosnia and Herzegovina will work on the European Union to establish sustainable and long-term mechanisms of responsibility towards those political actors who block the work of institutions and reform processes.
Džaferović expressed support for the work of the Group of Friends of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Chairman Grošelj, emphasizing that it is extremely important that the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina be in the focus of the European Union institutions.
