SARAJEVO, November 12 (FENA) - Representatives of the Tuzla Canton Government and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) met today to systematize open issues and eliminate possible slowdowns in procedures to create institutional capacities to successfully combat corruption.

The Prime Minister of TC Kadrija Hodžić, the Minister of Finance Vedran Lakić, the Secretary of the Government Enver Ćosićkić and the Secretary of the Ministry of Justice and Administration Mirela Tuzlak were presented with a project focusing on strengthening integrity and transparency in the public sector.

Such a project has already been implemented in the Sarajevo Canton and includes 12 local self-government units in both BiH entities.

After the representatives of the TC Government expressed their remarks when it comes to the establishment of the Office for the Fight against Corruption, the UNDP offered a direct professional and technical assistance when it comes to legislation.
